This scent is bold yet soft and warm. The pipe tobacco of yesteryear with subtle hints of vanilla and cherry along with a touch of leather. It reminds many people of a beloved grandparent or other relative.
This is a special scent for me. Early in my candle journey, my aunt asked me if I could make a candle that smelled like our elementary school librarian. In that moment it fully clicked that he was the reason our elementary school library smelled so good. It's been a really long time since then, but I only have fond memories of him as a helpful, kind human who would read books to the kids.
These 6.5oz candles have 40+ hours of burn time.

I’m obsessed with this candle. Mr. Briscoe’s Library smells like stepping straight into an old-world study with warm tobacco and that soft “yesteryear” vibe that feels both comforting and sophisticated. It’s rich without being heavy, cozy without being sweet, and honestly one of the most addicting scents I’ve ever brought into my home.
The burn is super clean thanks to the soy, coconut, and beeswax blend, and the throw is perfect. It fills the room without becoming overpowering. I also love the label design because it feels like a little piece of boutique art on my shelf.
If you love warm, bookish, library-inspired scents, this one is incredible. I bought a whole case of them for gifts!
The combination of scents from Mr. Briscoe’s library blend together perfectly. The mix of warm tobacco, tomka and yesteryear reminds me of opening up a familiar book I’ve read so many times but still gives a hint of mystery.
